Kevin Looby, CFP®, Vice President

Kevin has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry and joined Essex Financial Services (EFS) as a Vice President & Financial Advisor in April 2016. He joins EFS from Fidelity Investments where he covered Manhattan and northern New Jersey as a Vice President & Regional Planning Consultant, a role he had excelled in since 2007. Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ having earned his Financial Planning Certificate through Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2006. He started his career with Fidelity in Kentucky where he worked in multiple roles inside the 401k department before moving to Millburn, NJ as a Financial Planning Consultant where he assisted clients with investment & retirement planning as well as comprehensive wealth management strategies. During his tenure with Fidelity he won numerous awards, including their most prestigious honor, the Presidents Circle, in 2001 and 2005.

Kevin and his team specialize in tax management strategies, investment & wealth management, retirement and estate planning. He holds the Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses as well as the State of Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida Life Insurance and Variable Contracts Licenses.

Kevin is a Marine Corps veteran and is a member of the Marine Corp League and a current mentor for American Corporate Partners which provides mentoring services to recent veterans.

Kevin and his wife Lori reside in Madison, CT with their two daughters. Kevin and his family are new members of the New Haven Country Club.
