Romaine has 25 years of experience in financial and estate planning. Upon graduating from Southern Connecticut State University with a BS in Education, she obtained her Certified Financial Planning Designation from the College of Financial Planning in 1988. She is a member of the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners, Inc. and the Financial Planning Association and is a Registered Securities Principal.
Romaine specializes in investment, retirement, estate, and pension planning. She is also the Director of our Pension / Profit Sharing and 401(k) Division and in that capacity supervises the investment of 310 corporate retirement plans. She was also featured in Plan Sponsor Magazine’s article on “the role of the planner in the pension marketplace.” In 2004, Romaine earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary™ Studies, which is associated with University of Pittsburgh. Romaine has been a Financial Advisor with Essex Financial Services for twenty-two years.
