Mike has over 40 years experience providing independent estate planning and financial guidance to individuals, businesses and their advisors. Mike began his insurance career after graduating from Colby College. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations, and is a member of the prestigious Top of the Table of the Million Dollar Round Table association of financial professionals. Mike has been associated with John W. Rafal and Associates, now known as Essex Financial Services, Inc. since 1996. Mike is very active in various industry associations and is a frequent lecturer.
