Michael R. Gula
Michael is a Financial Advisor who has been affiliated with Essex Financial Services, formerly known as John W. Rafal & Associates, Inc., since August 1987. He is a two-time graduate of Indiana University. He first received a B.A. in both Biology and Chemistry in 1980, and subsequently earned a Masters in Business Administration in 1983.
Michael began his financial planning career in 1985 with the Invest Program, at New London Federal Savings & Loan, prior to joining Rafal & Associates.
He and his wife Susan are life-long, area residents and currently reside in Niantic, Connecticut. They are active volunteers for their Condo Association as well as several local charities. In addition, Michael remains a committed member in the Connecticut Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association.
