Jeb N. Embree
Jeb N. Embree joined John W. Rafal & Associates, now known as Essex Financial Services, Inc., as a Financial Advisor in January 2002. Between 1994 and 2002 Jeb was with Tucker Anthony & Co. in New Haven and New York City specializing in fixed income securities. For the 25 years prior to that he was an institutional municipal bond salesman in New York City with Kidder Peabody, Lazard Freres and Shearson.
Jeb has a BA Degree from Hobart College and was Class of ’59 at Pomfret School. He is a Trustee Emeritus of the Connecticut River Museum where he served for 13 years on various committees, as a member of the Executive Committee and for one year as Treasurer. He is a former member of the Lyme Library Corporation Board, is the current Corporate Sponsor Chair for High Hopes Symphony in the Meadows 2006 and is a member of the Old Lyme Country Club. Jeb is an active sailor and a member of the Cruising Club of America (Past Rear Commodore of the Essex Station), the North American Station of the Royal Scandinavian Yacht Clubs, New York Yacht Club, Dauntless Club in Essex and the Royal Ocean Racing Club in London, England.
Jeb is a resident of Lyme, CT. Jeb and his wife Dianne have two daughters and one granddaughter.
